General Questions
A pizza stone is a cooking tool used for baking pizzas in both commercial and home kitchens. It is typically made from high-temperature-resistant materials such as ceramic, cordierite, or mullite composites. Its main purpose is to replicate and enhance the baking effects of a traditional brick oven, providing even heat distribution and a crispy crust for the pizza. In addition to baking pizzas, a pizza stone is also suitable for baking bread, cookies, and other foods that require high, evenly distributed heat.
The micro-crystalline glazed baking stone is an advanced baking tool pioneered by our company, Lisheng Industry. It utilizes a special process to apply a layer of microcrystalline glaze to the surface of a traditional baking stone. This glaze not only enhances the stone’s heat resistance and anti-stain properties but also significantly improves its baking performance, making it ideal for cooking high-temperature-sensitive foods such as meats and seafood.
The Heat Deflector Stone auxiliary products with high thermal conductivity are auxiliary products with high thermal conductivity commonly used in applications requiring efficient heat transfer. However, they are not used in direct contact with food. Instead, they serve as an intermediate layer in ovens or grills to ensure even heat distribution during baking, preventing food from burning and enhancing the overall cooking results.
Conventional ceramic materials typically fail to meet the demands of everyday baking. In contrast, our company’s products are meticulously crafted from high-quality cordierite, kaolin, and other natural raw materials. They excel in both food safety and performance, meeting higher standards across the board.
During the sintering process, our products can reach temperatures of 1250 °C (2282 °F). When in use, they can withstand high temperatures of up to 800 °C (1472 °F) without cracking. Additionally, our micro-crystalline glazed baking stones can withstand even higher temperatures, around 900–1000 °C.
Our products are generally suitable for use in various baking equipment, such as ovens, gas grills, and clay ovens, etc. (excluding microwaves). For specific details, please contact our customer service.
